Young Writers' Workshop, Erica Farber: What's Your Point of View

Thursday, February 25, 2016 - 4:00 PM | Whitridge Room | For Members and Their Guests | Grades 3 and Older | $10 Per Child

In this ongoing series, young writers are invited to join notable writers in exploring different genres. In this workshop led by author Erica Farber, you will learn about the narrator’s role in fiction by experiencing how different points of view affect the way a story unfolds. Through writing games and activities in first, second, and third person, discover your narrative voice and find the best way to tell your story.

Erica Farber is the mother of a boy who likes facts along with his fiction. Besides writing and researching at the New York Society Library, she teaches writing to middle-schoolers, and is currently crafting a new YA series as well as a preschool television show. She has authored many children's books from chapter books and early readers to manga and educational books. Fish Finelli, humorous action adventure with fun facts, is her most recent book series
