Friends of Mark Hampton, the late interior designer and Library trustee, have purchased in his memory the twenty-four volume
American National Biography (Oxford University Press). This is the successor to the
Dictionary of American Biography, published between 1926 and 1937. The Library is proud to add this title to our reference sources.
