Twitter, Facebook, blogs, and other social media are increasingly critical tools in the marketing and publicity of books. Learn how to use the power of the social web to connect with your audience and spread the word.
Gretchen Rubin, author of the new book
The Happiness Project as well as the popular blog of the same name, will talk about her experience using social media to develop a devoted following and raise interest in her new book.
The Writing Life is a series of talks of interest to member-writers of the New York Society Library. All members are welcome; there is no fee, but registration is required. Sessions take place on the second Tuesday of the month in the Whitridge Room and last about 90 minutes.
The 2010 Writing Life series is generously underwritten by Jenny Lawrence
