Our $20 Day Passes let you try the Library out yourself or give that chance to someone else. (They make great stocking stuffers!)
Includes access to reading and study spaces and book stacks (no individual study rooms or book circulation).

Our $15 tote bags are handsome and sturdy, just right to pack with books.
A visitor tells us, "I live in Los Angeles but last summer while I was in New York I went to visit your library with a friend of mine. While I was there I bought one of your black canvas "New York Society Library"  tote bags. It was my favorite one I've ever had - the size is just right and the strap is the perfect length. So of course I lost it. Could I possibly order another? I should probably order two as insurance against another loss."

Our $10 book The New York Society Library: 250 Years tells the story of this historic New York City institution from conception through 2004, with fascinating context from the city's history and thought-provoking, often hilarious excerpts from our archives. It’s true that we’re now 266 years old, but that doesn’t make this history any less informative or enjoyable! Our 250th Anniversary book is available at the Circulation Desk.
