Dear Members and Friends of the New York Society Library,

Thank you for being a part of our community of readers and writers—seeing so many longtime members and new faces at virtual events and here in the building has meant the world to us as we faced the challenges of the past year.

As we launch our Spring Appeal, I hope that you will take a moment to watch a special message from celebrated authors and Library members Elizabeth Winthrop and Tim Gunn.

Membership dues cover only a quarter of our annual budget, and we rely on the generosity of our community to sustain our work. Thank you to those who have already made a donation this year.

It is crucial that all our members and friends who are in a position to do so make a gift in 2021. So please, donate if you can, renew your membership, and introduce a friend to your favorite place.
