Holiday time: You've lit the candles and sung the songs and eaten all the food. What to do once you're relaxing with family and friends? How about a little visit to the Oxford English Dictionary online? - it's available to members whether the Library's open or not. So are many of our other electronic resources.
A few more conversation starters from the web:
Our upcoming events! Browse here for January events (anytime) and selected events through the spring (from December 22). Panels, performances, lectures, and more.
Book Recommendations: Not only cats, but also mice - plus a wide range of gift ideas for young readers, other gift ideas for all ages, recommendations by genre or topic, and everything our Book Committee is enthused about.
Event Recordings: Catch up with three yoga history scholars, star YA author Carol Weston, the hilariously eloquent David Ives, and everything else on our YouTube channel.
E-Books: Dozens upon dozens of high-demand titles new and old on your favorite device through Cloud Library.
City Readers: Find your favorite early national-era New Yorker - or Hamilton character - in our fabulous archive of early charging ledgers.
Whatever holidays you celebrate, we wish you all the best of them - with plenty of time to read.
