Whether you are at the Library or in your living room, you now have access to so much of the New York Society Library’s extraordinary collection. Books for adults and children remain at its core as they have for more than 260 years. But today we offer materials in many other formats as well.

Our roster of e-books is growing, and we continue to add audiobooks as both discs and downloads. We also offer a wide range of electronic resources such as JSTOR, Project MUSE, and the ProQuest databases of historic newspapers. Our latest addition, Zinio for Libraries, is a digital newsstand that allows you to download and keep current popular magazines.
