Dear Members and Friends of the New York Society Library, 

Thank you for being a part of our community and for your support of the Library. Our city is coming back to life, and we are proud that the New York Society Library was one of the first cultural institutions to return when so few options were available to book lovers. Your generosity made our safe reopening possible, and we are deeply grateful. 

As 2021 comes to a close, we still need your help to sustain the Library and to build on the progress we have made since the start of the pandemic. In the best of years, membership dues cover only a quarter of our regular costs, and we rely on donations to ensure that we can maintain our historic building, enhance our collection, present our exhibitions, and provide such a wide array of events for members and visitors alike.
