I am the cotton candy spinning in the machine
the popcorn with its kernels popping
the popsicle melting while the kindergartener eats me
and the corn dog waiting patiently on my stick at the circus
I am the ice cream cold and frozen
a candy apple as delicious as ever

I am the ticket to the
circus.
