Jane Beirn worked as a book publicist for nearly 40 years. Until her retirement in 2022, she was Vice President/Senior Director of Publicity at HarperCollins Publishers. She has worked with such authors as Ann Patchett, Simon Winchester, Louise Erdrich, Annie Dillard, Barbara Kingsolver, and Adam Nicolson.
