Rebecca Behrens, Writing Famous and Fascinating Places

Thursday, February 13, 2020 - 5:00 PM | Members’ Room | open to the public | for grades 3 and up | $10 per person | registration required

When a massive earthquake hits the Pacific Northwest during her first babysitting job, 13-year old Hannah Steele pushes herself to the limit to survive the disaster.

Rebecca Behrens reads from her newest book, The Disaster Days, and shares how she researches the fascinating and famous places she portrays in her fact-based fiction. A mini-workshop follows where participants will cultivate their curiosity as they create richly detailed worlds for their own stories.

This event is generously supported by Jeanette Sarkisian Wagner.
