PLEASE NOTE: This reading group will take place monthly as scheduled, but beginning November 11, not October 14.

Educator Blanche Siegal leads informal discussions of the beloved Victorian author Anthony Trollope, as well as master writers of the same century such as Jane Austen, Edith Wharton, E.M. Forster, and William Dean Howells. The years from the French Revolution through the First World War saw vast social and technological change and a flourishing of literature that produced many brilliant and enduring books. This popular group is now in its eighth season.

This seminar takes place one Sunday per month through spring:
November 11: The Way We Live Now by Anthony Trollope
December 16: Persuasion by Jane Austen
January 13: A Modern Instance by William Dean Howells
February 10: Orley Farm by Anthony Trollope
March 10: Howards End by E. M. Forster
April 7: The Reef by Edith Wharton
May 5: Framley Parsonage by Anthony Trollope
all at 2:30 PM in the Whitridge Room.
