Tea & Trollope Reading Group with Blanche Siegel (11/11/18 session)

Educator Blanche Siegal leads informal discussions of the beloved Victorian author Anthony Trollope, as well as master writers of the same century such as Jane Austen, Edith Wharton, E.M. Forster, and William Dean Howells. The years from the French Revolution through the First World War saw vast social and technological change and a flourishing of literature that produced many brilliant and enduring books. This popular group is now in its eighth season.

This seminar takes place one Sunday per month through spring:
October 14: The Way We Live Now by Anthony Trollope
November 11: Persuasion by Jane Austen
December 16: A Modern Instance by William Dean Howells
January 13: Orley Farm by Anthony Trollope
February 10: Howards End by E. M. Forster
March 10: The Reef by Edith Wharton
April 7: Framley Parsonage by Anthony Trollope
all at 2:30 PM in the Whitridge Room.

Registrants will receive a reading list with links to recommended booksellers.
