There’s something magical about a ten-minute play. Its characters pull you in, surprise you, engage you in a dramatic struggle, and lead you to a thrilling end. In six sessions, we focus on problem, climax, and resolution. You will write, rewrite, and hear your draft read by actors. Learn how to market your play for competitions and festivals.

C.S. Hanson is a playwright with Off-Broadway and regional credits. Her ten-minute play Stalk Me, Baby is a favorite on college campuses. Prick Perfect, commissioned and produced by Theater for the New City, won an EstroGenius Festival Choice Award. Her plays have been anthologized by Applause Theatre and Cinema Books and by Smith and Kraus. She is a four-time finalist for the prestigious Heideman Award. In January 2020, Hanson will be a resident artist at The Cell Theatre in NYC, where her play I Could Never Live Here will be workshopped.
