Young Writers' Workshop with Rebecca Behrens, Fascinating People

In this ongoing series, young writers are invited to join notable writers in exploring different genres. In this workshop author and Library member Rebecca Behrens will discuss historical fiction and guide students in researching and writing stories about fascinating people and places in history.

Rebecca Behrens is the author of When Audrey Met Alice, the tale of what happens when frustrated First Daughter Audrey discovers Alice Roosevelt’s secret diary hidden beneath the White House floorboards. Kirkus describes Behrens’ debut novel as a “charming debut. . . an appealing journey and a fascinating life.”
