Beginning May 3, we will resume assessing late fines and replacement fees for lost or damaged books.  

Do you still have books that you checked out prior to March 16, 2020?  We understand that this has been a difficult year and our Library books might not be the first thing on your mind. On January 27, we emailed everyone with books overdue since March 16 of last year to ask that you return the books as soon as possible and we sent a second notice on April 7. Many have holds and other members are waiting for them. If there are extenuating circumstances, we understand, but we ask that you please contact us to let us know. We ask that you please return the long-overdue books or simply reach out to us at requests@nysoclib.org before May 3 to avoid being billed replacement fees.
