The new Third Floor                            In the Building


                  PAGE 4                       Iâ€™m pleased to be writing from the far side of our completed renovation of the Childrenâ€™s

                                               Library. It has more space for books, family reading, and kidsâ€™ programs, as well as

       Staff changes                           beautiful new furnishings and carpeting, a fresh coat of paint, and improved lighting

                                               throughout. The Whitridge Room, adjacent to the Childrenâ€™s Library, is also sparkling and

                   PAGE 5                      refreshed with better tables for writing and group meetings. The west wall features special

                                               shelving for the Ethelyn Chase Poetry Collection, which we look forward to adding to the

                                               Library holdings in 2014. More information on whatâ€™s available on the Third Floor is on

                                               page 4. I sincerely appreciate the patience and good wishes of families and all our

                                               members during the renovation.
