Spooner and Shapiro will offer a tour through From the Western Front and Beyond in the Peluso Family Exhibition Gallery, then move to the Whitridge Room for discussion, questions, and hands-on interaction with Spooner’s collection of items from the period. The lives of soldiers in the thick of the war, and of American civilians as the war increasingly overshadowed them, become even clearer through their books and possessions.
