The New York Times has called Joseph Smith's playing "eloquent," and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung found him a "richly sensitive interpreter." In this lecture-recital, he will perform a wide range of music with background on the works of literature that inspired each one, with a guest appearance by WQXR host Robert Sherman.
