Quack! Quack! Puppet Workshop with Leah Rubin and Margery Quackenbush
Robert Quackenbush’s delightful creatures of mystery come to life as puppets with teaching artist Leah Rubin and Margery Quackenbush, the inspiration for Miss Mallard herself. This unique story and art workshop shows young artists how to craft their own vintage-style pantin puppets using paper, string, and imagination! These whimsical creations go back more than 2,000 years to ancient Egypt but became better known as Jumping Jacks in America. They’re the perfect form for Sherlock Chick, Detective Mole, or any character you design!
This event is generously supported by the Richard Peck Fund.
