At its best, dialogue advances the action of the story and reveals what is special about the characters. When it sizzles, it is a propelling force. In this three-session workshop, we read, write, and revel in dialogue. Prompts and in-class exercises help us unearth the things our characters are dying to say. Whether you write plays, screenplays, novels, or other fiction, join us and prepare to make progress.

C.S. Hanson’s plays have been produced Off Broadway and regionally, and she has garnered national recognition as a four-time Heideman finalist. Her work has been developed by E.S.T., La MaMa, At Hand Theatre, Metropolitan Playhouse, Living Image Arts, and 3Graces, among others.
