Young Writers' Workshop: George O'Connor, Graphic Novels

In this ongoing series, young writers are invited to join notable authors in exploring different genres. Author and illustrator George O’Connor will lead a discussion about graphic novels and work with young writers and artists to explore visual storytelling. Participants will learn the tools to create their own comics and graphic novels.

George O’Connor is the author of the popular Olympians graphic novel series, chronicling the lives of ancient Greek deities in a fresh way via engaging illustrations paired with modern language. O’Connor has also published several picture books, including Kapow, Sally and the Some-Thing, and Uncle Bigfoot.
