Harry Schwartz and Lynne Sharon Schwartz, Great American Authors Read from Their Works

Wednesday, November 19, 2014 - 6:30 PM | Members' Room | Open to the Public | $10 with advance registration; $15 at the door

A pioneer in literary recordings, Calliope Author Readings captured some of the most original voices of the twentieth century, including James Baldwin, Bernard Malamud, Philip Roth, William Styron, and John Updike. In this event Mr. and Ms. Schwartz speak about the origins of Calliope and their encounters with the authors, and play excerpts from the readings.
