Odysseus has been imagined in works from Homer's Odyssey to the film "O Brother Where Art Thou?." In Odysseus: A Life, classicist Charles Rowan Beye pieces together ancient sources and modern scholarship to tell a life story which Kirkus Reviews calls "lively, informative, and great fun: the perfect introduction to Odysseus and the society that shaped his exploits."
