We gather monthly to read aloud a play by William Shakespeare in the company of Columbia University lecturer and Library trustee Emily Madison.

Scripts will be made available each session, and role assignments are drawn from a hat to give everyone who wants one a chance to read. Prior theatrical experience is welcome but not needed. This informal meetup aims to include anyone with an interest in the Bard, neophyte to expert. Tea and cookies will be served.

For our inaugural meeting on October 1, we'll read Twelfth Night, using the Folger Shakespeare Library edition.
