Young Writers Workshop: Jane Kelley, Unlikely Stories - Fully Registered

Friday, January 31, 2014 - 3:30 PM | For Members and Their Guests in Grades 3-6 | Whitridge Room | $10 per child, payable at the door | Advance registration required

In this ongoing series, young writers in grades three through six are invited to join notable writers in exploring different genres.

In this workshop, Brooklyn author Jane Kelley will explore character and plot development in fiction writing. “I like combining unlikely elements. Complexity enriches character and plot,” says Kelley.

Jane Kelley is the 2013 Thurber House Children’s Writer in Residence and author of the critically acclaimed middle grade novels Nature Girl, Zeno & Alya, and The Girl Behind The Glass.
