Some Things Change, Some Things Stay the Same

Sunday, April 28, 2019

Every once in a while, I remind myself how long I've been a member of the Library. It's always remarkable to remember that it's been over thirty years. (Thank you, trustee William J. Dean, for introducing my family to the Library!) In 2008, I joined the staff as Director of Development.

Over the years, much has changed at the Library. We're now open seven days a week year-round, including three evenings. We offer a vibrant array of resources like e-books, downloadable audiobooks, and digital magazines. The Children's Library has activities for young readers of all ages, newborn through young adult. Our freshly responsive website includes our remarkable City Readers digital archive.

What hasn't changed is the warmth of the members, the professionalism of the staff, and the extraordinary range and quality of the ever-growing collection.

To make this and so much more possible, we rely on the generosity of patrons like you to support our Spring Appeal. Please click here to give now. Thank you.
